About

31 years. Thousands of conversations. One person at a time.

Lynn Hoague has been practicing massage since 1995. In that time she's learned that the most useful thing she can do in the first ten minutes of a session isn't technique — it's listening.

Lynn Hoague, massage therapist and owner of Healing Hands of Westford

Lynn's story

Lynn built this practice one client at a time. There's no front desk, no rotating roster of therapists, no script. When you book at Healing Hands, you're booking with her.

Over three decades she's worked with people recovering from surgery, people in the middle of cancer treatment, pregnant clients, athletes, parents, nurses, teachers and desk-bound professionals whose shoulders have quietly seized up over a decade of sitting.

What ties all of it together is a simple habit: ask first, then work — and keep asking while you work.

Philosophy of care

Two people can describe the same tight shoulder and need completely different sessions. One needs slow, sustained pressure. One needs to be left alone with a warm room and a quiet hour. Lynn's job is to figure out which — with you, not for you.

She won't push through something your body is guarding, and she'll say plainly if she thinks a different service, or a conversation with your doctor, should come first.

Continuity

Why personalized massage matters

When the same person works with you over months and years, small things get noticed: the shoulder that only tightens during tax season, the hip that changed after your surgery, the pressure you like in winter but not in July.

That memory is part of the care. It's also why so much of Lynn's practice is made up of people who've been coming for years.

Becky B. · Therapeutic MassageClient recommendation
Both I and my wife have been Lynn's clients for many years. Lynn's wide variety of techniques, profound empathy, and remarkable skills have been one of the reasons my wife is able to function and have reduced pain. Lynn is caring, patient, and able to adapt her therapies to each client's specific needs.
Dan K. · Long-term therapeutic careClient recommendation
Therapy with Lynn has changed my life. Not only did a one hour session instantly relieve my symptoms, but I remain essentially symptom free between monthly visits. And Lynn's expertise goes well beyond the massage itself — her tips for preventative measures at home proved just as valuable.
